ICT Technician

CLPT03/04 £18,562 – £18,933 FTE,
pro-rata to term time only 37 hours per week, term time

The Central Learning Partnership Trust are looking to appoint an ICT Technician to work as part of a team in supporting the schools within the Trust. (see JD for further information)

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • a self-motivated individual and dedicated to supporting staff and pupils
  • able to effectively work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • have high expectations of themselves and others

Maintenance of the School ICT Network Facilities

  • Contribute to the provision of ICT Support throughout the school under the direction of the IT Manager.
  • Advise on set up and maintenance of ICT hardware and software.
  • Ensure an up to date inventory of ICT equipment, software licenses and consumables is maintained.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the School Learning Platform and Intranet / Internet.
  • Undertake maintenance of ICT hardware.
  • Setting up equipment for the delivery of the curriculum.
  • Ensuring effective integration of curriculum and administrative systems to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Contribute to ICT training provision and advise school staff as appropriate.
  • Develop safe working practices in relation to the use of ICT.
  • Liaise with partners and suppliers of the school on ICT related issues.
  • Undertake projects to enhance specific developments of ICT within the school

East Dene Primary School

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

10 hrs per week (afternoons only)  

£4,579.38 – £4,956.82 

Required to commence role January 2020 – temporary position until 31 August 2021

East Dene Primary is looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis for 2 terms (due to the Government Catch-Up Funding) to work with our pupils. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly experienced and caring person to support our pupils.  The successful candidate will work in collaboration with teachers and school staff to assess our pupil’s needs and determine suitable educational plans and interventions to help them overcome barriers to learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a committed, adaptable and caring professional, passionate about delivering high quality support and providing an inspirational approach to learning
  • Can lead by example and be a positive role model to our children
  • Can demonstrate the creativity, resilience and interpersonal skills to complement our highly effective team

HLTA – East Dene Primary School

Band G 19 – 23 – 20 hours

The Governing Body of East Dene Primary School are seeking to appoint a well-motivated, enthusiastic HLTA to join our friendly school. The role will mainly comprise of covering classes across the school, delivering interventions and supporting class teachers. Applicants for the post should feel confident in the expectations of the EYFS alongside the KS1 & KS2 curriculum. This role is temporary and will commence January 2020. We would welcome applications from HLTAs and graduates who are looking to move into teaching. Our links with Learners First and Sheffield Hallam University are strong and we invest heavily in CPD to support and develop our staff.
